Cryptocurrencies You Can Use to Play Poker on Americas Cardroom

September 18, 2020 Category :Banking Off

Americas Cardroom has always been at the forefront of technological advancement, offering cutting-edge features for its players. One of the things that completely reshaped online payments in the last couple of years is cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin, to be precise.

Ever since Bitcoin was created in 2008, people started realizing how important this type of money is, as it offers a completely unique perspective on finance. With no intermediaries involved, Bitcoin was able to make peer-to-peer payments possible, and many online gambling platforms liked that.

As Bitcoin grew popular, many online casinos, poker rooms, sportsbooks, and other gambling sites started accepting it and even encouraging players to deposit and withdraw with them.

However, the majority of these platforms still only accept Bitcoin.

Yet, things changed in the world of crypto, as there are hundreds of new cryptocurrencies on the block. Sure, Bitcoin is still the most popular one, but there are thousands of poker players owning other cryptocurrencies, not knowing where to play USA legal poker on the web with them.

Lots Of Cryptos

Enter Americas Cardroom. Currently, it accepts 60-plus cryptos. Apart from Bitcoin, some other cryptocurrencies you can use to make a deposit on this site are Litecoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Ripple, Basic Attention Token, Nxt, Blackcoin, Mastercoin, District0x, Starcoin, GameCredits, Lisk, Nubits, Peercoin, and many more.

All cryptocurrencies are fast, meaning you’ll have to wait between five and 40 minutes depending on which crypto you use (each uses a different network, so that’s why the time differs so much).

The minimum amount you can deposit with cryptos at Americas Cardroom is $10, and the maximum is $25,000.
Moreover, the minimum withdrawal limit is set to $50, and the maximum at $10,000.

If you’re new to the world of cryptocurrency, just make sure to get the address of the poker site right, as all transactions that take place on the blockchain (the main technology behind cryptocurrencies) are immutable, meaning they cannot be retrieved. Therefore, always double-check that you entered the correct information in your wallet.

If you like playing poker and are looking for a good online platform to do it, make sure to check our selection of the best USA poker sites. We’ll give you a hint – one of them is Americas Cardroom. After you examine the list, feel free to select one of the sites and open an account.

All of them accept cryptocurrencies – at least BTC. However, they also accept many other payment methods, including cash transfers, credit and debit cards, and more.

Americas Cardroom Offers Private Poker Tournaments

May 10, 2020 Category :Online Poker Off

A lot has changed in the world of poker in the last couple of months since the coronavirus started spreading around the globe. That’s why many poker players decided to continue playing their favorite game on the web.

However, many people are not professional poker players and are just looking for a way to play the game on the web with their friends a family. In fact, many wondered whether it was possible to create a private poker tournament instead of taking part in big poker tournaments offered on online poker platforms.

Americas Cardroom has the answer to that. You can now use this platform to create your very own private poker tournament and invite people that you want to include in it.

Setting it up is rather easy on this USA legal poker platform. First of all, you need to choose which type of game you want to include in the tournament. There are currently three options to choose from: No-Limit Hold ’em, Pot-Limit Omaha, and PLO8.

Options To Choose

Moreover, you need to choose the pace of the tournament by choosing its average time. There are three structures to choose from.

The fast tournament lasts approximately an hour, and the medium lasts about 90 minutes. Finally, the slot type of tournament lasts for 180. There’s no right answer to what you should choose when creating a private tournament. Simply make sure to check with your friends what they prefer the most and select accordingly.

You also need to name your tournament and use a specific password that only you and your friends should know. Once you create it, everyone who wants to take part will have to input a password to apply.

The only downside to this concept is the fixed buy-in rate, which is $1.65. Therefore, you will be able to play with your friends, but only for small stakes. Nevertheless, it’s the fun and quality time with your friends that matter the most.

But playing poker online doesn’t have to be an experience that you only share with your friends. If you’re new to poker, there are many great poker platforms that offer cash games and tournaments where you can start with micro stakes and learn the game by not losing a lot.

Therefore, if your friends aren’t available for playing private poker tournaments, you can claim poker bonuses and take part in public tournaments that are offered on platforms such as Americas Cardroom. In fact, we shortlisted several poker sites with great welcome offers, so feel free to check them out.

Americas Card Room makes participating in the 50th WSOP Main Event easier than ever

May 9, 2019 Category :Tournaments Off

The WSOP is about to get underway, returning for its 50th appearance. Americas Cardroom (ACR) has something special on tap for poker fans this year and is prepared to send several players to Las Vegas to compete against poker greats from around the world for the million-dollar top prize. If you have ever wanted to grab a seat at this prestigious event, now is your chance and only ACR makes it this easy.

From June 3rd to 9th, the US-facing site will be hosting its WSOP Takedown Week. It’s a series of satellite tournaments with buy-ins as low as $2.20 that lead up to the WSOP Main Event Satellite on Sunday, June 9th at 4pm ET. 15 lucky players will all be awarded prize packages worth $12,500, covering the $10,000 Main Event buy-in with an additional $2,500 in cash to make the trip.

The 15 players can either decide to keep the $12,500 in cash or make the trip to Vegas for a seat in the big game. Making the trip to Vegas is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and, if this year is anything like last year, the top prize will be worth millions.

You could be just like the legendary Chris Moneymaker. Back in 2003, he turned the online poker world on its head by winning a seat to the WSOP Main Event through a $39 online satellite. He then pocketed a spectacular $2.5 Million. John Cynn, an Illinois native, was the winner last year and won a life-changing $8.8 Million (the total prize pool was over $9.5 Million). This year should be another gigantic prize pool.

If you don’t want to wait until WSOP Takedown Week to start winning your WSOP Main Event trip, then you’re in luck. Americas Cardroom is running Step Tournaments right now and here’s how they work. Start at Step 0 which has just a $0.28 buy-in. Then move up the ladder through Step 7 which is a $1,800+120 ticket in the WSOP Main Event Satellite on June 9th.

Poker fans need to get ready for something even bigger at ACR this year. On July 16th, the site is hosting the $5 Million Venom, the biggest poker event ever organized by any US-facing poker site. Don’t miss out on the chance to take home the $1 million GTD top prize. Mark your calendars now and be a part of history!
